Changes needed for Nothing 2a Videography
Good things :
The stabilization looks fine.
Gives good result in indoor with a fair amount of light and also studio light setups.
HDR mode is there for video which gives good results.
Over all dynamicrange is fine.
What’s bad and need to be rectified :
1. The stabilization is limited to inbuilt app only, I have used some third party camera apps like opencamera and found that the stabilization isn’t working in it. I have switched the settings and everything no matter what the stabilization is not going to work. This is a terrific problem. If the camera has specific feature then it must be available to every other app. We use a third party thing because official one is not able to provide our need.
2. Less controls for videomode compared to the other competitors at this price point. Please give a promode for video too. Because the colors and stuff which the camera app automatically giving is sometimes messy also so many weird artifacts when shot on outdoor daylight.
3. Lots of framedrops while shooting outdoor with good amount of light. So when I am shooting outdoor with good amount of light I have seen lots of framedrops if there is a lot of movements. This is because of the high shutterspeed. When the shutterspeed is high the visual looks artificial and at the sametime when there is a lot of movements there is framedrops are seen. This can be fixed only is we have a promode in video.
4. The visuals sometimes looks a oversharpened. Which creates artifacts and there isnt any option to change the bitrate of the video.. as most of the video which are recorded are having low bitrate the post processing capabilities are limited.
5. Focus breathing of focus hunting happens sometimes which is really annoying 🥲🥲.
