Why I Chose This Design
1. Clear & Consistent Structure
The layout follows a top-down flow — from storage details, to frequent categories, to useful tools.
This gives users an intuitive feel — they know where to look without scanning the whole screen.
2. Focused Visual Hierarchy
Important actions like Audio or Quick Share are visually emphasized, but not overwhelming.
We use a minimal accent color system to keep the interface clean and modern without reducing clarity.
3. Smart Use of Space
Rather than loading everything on the screen (e.g., previews, full drawers, tabs), we chose a modular layout that adapts and scales well.
This design keeps things uncluttered and allows for future additions or customization without redesign.
4. Thoughtful Inspiration & Refinement
Our layout borrows selectively from other strong designs:
Category grid-style from Variation 1.
Highlight cards from Variation 2.
Preview system from Variation 3.
A bit of Google Files’ clarity and flow.
These inspirations were used as starting points, and then refined to match our own priorities: focus, usability, balance.
The Settings page also draws from these sources and Nothing’s minimal, clean-layered design language.

Final Thought
This design is still unpolished, but it’s already structured, clear, and quite interesting — with plenty of room to grow.
