I recently got update on privacy space but, to test it I had locked it with pattern and finger print but I forgot pattern or it’s not working as it should not sure. How to delete privacy space.

Tried going to system and delete but there again it is asking privacy space pattern which obviously I don’t know.

Please help what needs to be done here will there be updates?

I can’t remember what my private space pw was and there is no option to reset or delete my private space unless and until I remember that password which my dumbass thought should be different but I can’t remember it at all because I used to unlock it with fingerprint. Please help me find a solution

There hasn’t been any recent update adding a private space feature. I set up a password for it and configured everything, but now I’ve forgotten the password, and there’s no “Forgot Password” option. I have important documents saved there. Do you have any suggestions on how to recover access?

ABHISEKMOHAKUD After much trying I finally found the solution. Enable USB Debugging in developer options and use a PC with ADB installed to enter the command adb shell pm list users note the id before Private space (Probably 10). Now use adb shell pm remove-user your_idto delete the user. Then you can delete the private space like mentioned in this thread by going to system > reset options > delete private space. If nothing happens when pressing delete private space just try again until it asks you to enter your normal screen lock. Now you can recreate the Private Space and use a new pattern/pin.

franek_WUbs3wzTHw yes..after placing the privacy password still shows inaccurate password.atleast nothing should provide forgot password option. Because resetting the whole mobile is not always the solution.

gourabsaha3000 hey mate, I’d suggest ‘forgotten password’ idea via settings > system > feedback. Best place to get things like this seen/heard by Nothing.

gourabsaha3000 I think the issue stems from Nothing OS itself, because I’m pretty sure I’m typing the correct password and it’s showing as incorrect and there is no option for forgot password at all
