This design was created by my child, who is passionate about technology and design. Since the contest requires participants to be 18 or older, I’m submitting it on their behalf. Here’s his summary of the work he’s done:
"I actually posted my Phone (3) rendition earlier this week I think, but when I saw this discussion I decided to remake it digitally and refine it a bit. I’m not double-posting!!! This is my first and only entry to this specific giveaway.
Honestly, it is quite similar to the Phone (2), but I don’t think that’s a bad thing. I love the mainline phones, and just want to sort of build upon that with new ideas.
The first of which, the cameras. I added a periscope in the place of the previous dual camera setup, moved the main camera over to the center of the phone next to the periscope, and beneath the main camera lies the ultrawide, flash and some sort of telephoto or depth sensor. No other phone has any sort of camera setup like this, which makes it distinct for sure. It’s not just for the sake of being different tho, I genuinely thought it was cool.
Then in the place of the top right glyph, I added a matrix display! This allows for normal glyph capabilities, but also allows for special information to appear, like to differentiate between essential notifications or for more specific countdowns instead of just the progress glyph. Kind of like the teaser with the pulsating 3 we saw earlier this week.
Then I sort of freestyled the design honestly, whatever seemed cool and fancy is what I decided to do. If you look closely, there is actual depth, texture and stuff. And right, the recording LED is back.
