Presenting my vision for the Phone (3): The essence of minimalism.

This concept for the Phone (3) embraces a truly clean and uncluttered design philosophy. As someone who appreciates refined aesthetics, I envision a device that strips away the superfluous, focusing on intentionality and a serene user experience.

The signature glyph interface evolves, becoming even more integrated, yet instantly recognizable. It’s about purity of form, where every line and curve serves a purpose, contributing to a harmonious and understated elegance. This Phone (3) is designed not just to be a tool, but a statement of sophisticated simplicity.

Okay so,

You can see that it is definitely a sketch, didnt even try blender since I’m bad in it haha

But, it has a meaning and I spent a few hours doing this.

It’s inspired by some retro games, items, etc. Still continuing the transparent design with a different vibe to it, but still a Nothing device. When I saw the X post uploaded by Nothing, I immediately thought about a pixelated screen. Seems like others did too. Also includes the iconic glyph interface.

So, you might wonder what is the screen in the back for? You can play the snake game, which is exactly the same as the widget. You can also have notifications in it, I haven’t thought about this till the ned but it’s fine.

It got a periscope lens, of course. Also the recording light which we’ve seen in Phone (1) & (2). Actually took a lot of inspiration from my own Phone 2.

My Concept is based on Phone 2 but with addon. the main glyph is like phone 1 again but the whole segment is individually callable so there is more detail for timers. also there is another zoom camera in the top left and it’s a cleaner design but still with detail. as they teased this dotty 3 there’s a circular dot matrix in the center that shows this 3.

Deepanshu_Saini_ Here is what I’ve cooked up. Hear this, the Glyph interface becomes the Dot Matrix interface. We have less light zones here but I am also trying to be realistic, since fitting these kinds of small LEDs would mean a lot of labor. Ok let’s go over the functions, camera, software and performance. 1. Functions:

Dot Matrix interface - Builds on the already great Glyph Interface by making it helpful and fun. The DMI also has a mode where it reacts to touch. It is also colorful but not always. For an example whenever the phone starts charging depending on the phone percentage the DMI lights up with a smooth wave animation in green or red. You can also draw on it. Specific apps can light up the DMI in a specific color that is chosen by the user in the Dot Matrix section in the settings app.
Nothing AI - The new Nothing AI will help you plan your day with Essential Space, edit photos with AI Editor, summarize text and reply to mail with the help of Text Tools. Say hello to Void, your brand new assistant. Void helps you everyday with the power of different LLMs (LLMs can be switched in the Settings app under Nothing AI > Customization. Void also navigates webpages and apps for you. Void can help you plan your dream honeymoon, just unlock your Phone (3) and say Hey Voidy or just Voidy, and say Help me plan my honeymoon. Void will ask you specific questions while researching like “What’s your budget?” or “Any specific place that you have in mind?”.
Camera - In a major leap forward, the brand new Phone (3) will be packed with a 200 MP main camera, a 100 MP Wide and a 50 MP Telephoto that can zoom in up to 100x. Everything taken from the camera goes through the Camera Matrix Engine which makes photos look better with the help of the new CPU found in the Phone (3).
Performance - Powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite, the Phone (3) delivers performance like never before. The new CPU makes every task feel like it’s gliding in a rythm with your fingers. It also delivers blazing fast on-device AI proccessing and powers the new Camera Matrix Engine.
Software - Powered by Nothing OS 4.O the new animations and transparent design feel amazing to use on the Phone (3). Phone (3) has 7 years of Android updates and 7 years of Security updates keeping you up to date through everything.
