Hi team, probably this is gonna be my last post about this topic, and I know no one will reply.
I’m a Nothing Phone (1) user almost 3years now. and I’m seriously frustrated. It’s been over 20 days and here’s everything I’ve faced:
1. Phone shows full 5G signal (NSA) on the status bar, but in NetMonster it clearly shows 5G disconnected.
2. My friend, using the same Airtel 5G SIM beside me, gets full working 5G, while I can’t access it at all.
3. Though 5G symbol is visible, the phone uses 2GB 4G data from my daily limit.
4. Only way to access 5G temporarily is by turning airplane mode on/off multiple times – it connects for a while and then disconnects again.
5. I’ve called Airtel multiple times, posted on this Nothing Community, even did a factory reset – no permanent solution.
**I Repeat! I did a factory reset.
6. The spots where I regularly got strong 5G signals, I’m now getting no usable 5G at all.
7. I gave feedback through the Nothing feedback tool – no response.
8. I’ve done everything I possibly could. Still, no proper 5G connectivity.
Honestly, I thought this was a network issue before, but now it feels like a bug with the phone or Nothing OS itself.
I’m mentally exhausted over this.
As you can see in the screenshot below I am using my phone like this, because I don’t Even know that I am using 5G or 4G the top right corner says 5G, most of the time in net moster 5G is disconnected.
I am using like this and when I see it’s LTE not NR NSA. I manually reset network several times just to connect to 5G again.
