I would appreciate the possibility to have a widget that locks the screen without needing to download a third-party app. Physical buttons can wear out over time with frequent use, but having a lock screen widget would reduce the need to press the lock button, extending its lifespan. What are your thoughts on this?

Can Nothing add Full screen Always on display on future updates. It will be great option, to see faded wallpaper in always on, would be really cool. I really like Always on display on Iphones, so i will like to see that design of always on Nothing phones.

It would be nice to change the colour of the clock and the shortcuts button in the lock screen (like in ios to match the wallpaper)

As far as i know the colour of the lock screen clock is stuck to white which is hard to read in white backgrounds.

So it would be nice if nothing brings this update to nothing os (coloured lock screen items)

(If there is an option to change the colour already , please let me know)

I’d love to see some ‘bluetooth audio output’ mode that lets you select which apps’ sound to output from the phone and which ones to output from the Bluetooth speaker/headphones.

Posting to suggest an option for the phone to default to the home screen when unlocking.

have you ever been in an awkward text conversation with a pesky relative or insistent client who demand your attention and won’t respect your right to disconnect? Have you ever unlocked your phone, only for it to open to the text conversation you were actively trying to avoid and now you feel obligated to respond because the other person knows you have “seen” the message?

Well, here I am to propose this become a problem of the past by adding a built in setting that means you always unlock your phone to the safety of your home screen.

Give the option to check who all have connected their devices to my hotspot. Give the option to block or remove them. I have shifted from realme to CMF and this feature is a major missing.

The Expert Video or Pro Video mode is available on most smartphones, and Nothing should consider adding this feature soon, as it is highly beneficial for video shooting."

Hey team nothing i really love the brand design and the OS. but i was hoping if you could in upcoming models make video the USP. There is no comparison to video quality of Apple be it any iPhone. if nothing could manage to get that quality in an android a lot of people would not mind switching to nothing even if it comes at an expensive price. I personally am hoping nothing redefines videography for android. thank you.

Hi, I am a new user of Nothing Phone, coming from OneUI, MIUI, iOS previously and have some thoughts to share.

Multiple audio source playback - I didn’t realise this isn’t a default android function, but the ability to have multiple audio sources playing at the same time - eg. Spotify playing + YouTube or Spotify + Instagram reels or any other combination. This was possible on OneUI and MIUI. Missing this feature

Not missing it as much as THIS feature though:

Pop-up app from notifications, right now holding down on a notification just gives me the settings for that apps notifications, while there could be a great function - hold and drag down to pop-up the notification app in the pop-up multitasking window.

The next feature that goes in hand with that, elevating the multitasking experience is having a sidebar with shortcuts which can also be opened as pop-up window by holding and dragging onto the screen.

And last but not least, multiple pop-up windows at the same time.

One more thing, that’s not a copy paste from another OS would be a control center switch/button for Flip to Glyph, not having this option easily accessible makes me less inclined to use it at all 🙁

Otherwise I am quite happy with the NothingOS so far, it’s better than I expected, but at the same time lacking some ‘essential’ features for a 2025 phone experience I would say.

Edit: just realised the default gallery app doesn’t offer ANY editing?? Not even cropping? Damn, I am starting to regret getting this phone

Edit2: just thought of one more thing, make an option to change notifications to be more condensed, right now each notification takes up so much space and it makes it hard to have an easy overview of all notifications at a quick glance
