Nothing phone 2 users recieved the update. We are totally disappointed. We user can understand Older Nothing Phones has a bimonthly update and the company says we users are always asking for update. The main reason the users are continuously asking for update is because Not all the released features to come to the older devices in an update We users were expecting

•No of Hotspot Users feature

•Camera preset feature which was promised

•Camera Improvements

•Full version of Nothing Gallery

But we only got a private space as a new feature mainly. This is the reason why users are continuously asking for updates. I as a NOTHING FAN initially defended other’s complaints. But nowadays even I feel like NOTHING is literally ignoring the old users needs.

We got a private space and already given gallery when essential space and camera update is needed.private space is assigned to the left side of app drawer,now nothing can say we cannot add essential space because the space is already taken by private space.

There is a new bug now with the update. Now if you try to set the animation scale into .5x and try to open apps quickly you get some app crash animations. This was not the case earlier. This has broken the animation in 0.5x

This was not the case earlier. They have now broken the app animations at 0.5x speed. Earlier at 0.5x it was very snappy and not app crash animations.

They need to fix asap

AlexMrngstr69 may I suggest that you use a softer and friendlier language when requesting updates or fixes?

Instead of writing “they need to fix ASAP” try writing “I would like/love them to fix it as soon as they can”. This is a better approach imo. It will sound like a “please fix” instead of “do it now”.

Deepakpurohit Come on they don’t disappoint. And regarding camera presets it takes time. Have some patience. And Carl also mentioned it will take some time for them to add as they have to fine tune for all the phones differently. So they will add it for sure. Just need to have some patience. And regarding Hotspot Manager I think they forgot about that and its fine. Happens. I think we can give them more time. And I am also using Phone 2 and I also need those features but its fine

mafcarvalho Bro my tone is alright. Firstly time is not free and it should not be wasted. I just updated my device and found this bug . So I got in the community to update so that It can be fixed.

And everyone here can understand that I am not cussing or ordering anyone. I am just informing what needs to be done. If you feel my tone is bad, I would like to say I don’t care. I just want to make sure if there are any bugs it is notified soon and everyone can have a good experience.

I just gave you an educated suggestion without any accusations or negative criticism. You didn’t see me accusing you of cussing or ordering anyone. As a person that works in IT, mainly fixing issues reported by users and correcting software issues for customers, I have a tendency to prioritise tickets with higher levels of politeness and understanding.
Time is not free for you neither is it free for technical support. You can’t imagine the levels of stress and pressure that techs have to work with on a daily basis. Please note that I’m not saying that you don’t have any stress or pressure on your work. Just trying to give you my personal opinion and in the end you’re free to do whatever you want.
If you really care about bugs being dealt with asap just report them first in the phone’s settings > system > feedback and then post in the community. System feedback on our phones is what generates tickets for the support team.
The community generates awareness and lets more people know about problems.

I’m no ethics chairman or whatever you’re dreaming about. I’m just a 50 year old tech with lots of experience in dealing with people of all works of life. If you don’t accept a friendly suggestion I don’t really care. That attitude tells me a lot about yourself and your personality.

Can all the whiners stop complaining already?! You got a mid range phone for a mid range price. Not a flagship phone. You also purchased a product from a brand new company. Stop with the unrealistic complaints. Been one and a half years on this phone and it’s been absolutely stellar for the price. Camera is literally fine for the price. Samsung or oneplus for the same price from the same era will do the same or worse. Use a 3rd party camera app if you really know anything about fotography. Also, how many phone manufacturers release firmware every 2 months?

Cool bro.. I didn’t know you were tech support here. Well there are a lot of people in the community who actually Instead of helping mislead the topic . So I don’t take comments just anyway. I just love nothing OS and want it be smooth and Snappy. Plus I work as a QA ,so finding Bugs And refining products is both my day and night job. So I can be you know very direct when it comes to fixing any issues..

Also, Previously I used to raise feedbacks but didn’t quite get the fixes. So I think raising here helps the issues to be notified.. Just a feedback I wanted to share .

And, Thanks for prioritizing the correct tickets .your efforts are appreciated. I can understand as a fellow peer from the IT industry it’s hectic.

I just wanted to share my personal experience in order to explain why I wanted to give you my humble suggestion. Thanks also for sharing your experience with Nothing support not working as it should before you comment about such problems in the community.

I don’t work for Nothing but I have the responsibility of providing support to a huge geographical area in a company that produces automotive components. We have many factories around the world and approximately 150.000 employees in total, 30.000 engineers included. My main skill that got me in the company is that I speak fluent German (was born there) and in Portugal it’s not easy to find people who are great at support and also know German. My first PC had an OS called MS-DOS v3. 30 and no HDD. So yeah, I’m ancient 😅
Sorry for my rambling but it was great that we ended up understanding each other.
