KelvinEdimeh if you disable ULTRA XDR in the Camera settings your photos won’t be affected by the over-processing. This is a non-issue for a long time now.

“Hi, I am a Nothing Phone (2A) user. After the May update, a new Private Space feature was introduced, but it disappeared after just one day. Now, there is no Private Space, and the option for hidden apps is also missing.”

“Additionally, the camera is unable to connect to the Nothing Gallery. After taking a photo, I can’t view it immediately—I must open the Gallery app first. The Gallery app is still quite slow, lacks customization options, and sometimes fails to properly read images in albums.”

2a-Post may update facing auto brightness issue, and since day 1st there’s an issue with display when it is dark on the screen, has anyone facing it please help me out with solution

Issues After Recent Update:

Private Space Missing:
The Private Space feature has completely disappeared, even after waiting a full day for the system to update. It’s as if it has been removed entirely.
Gallery Problems:
The default gallery is now unusable — it’s messy and lacks functionality. No third-party gallery apps can be connected to the camera, making photo access and organization frustrating.
Camera Quality:
The camera focus remains poor, especially considering the phone’s price range. The clarity and sharpness are below expectations.
Battery Issues:
New problems with battery performance have started showing up, possibly after the recent update.
Display in Dark Mode:
When using dark mode in low-light environments, the screen shows an unusual green tint. Colors also appear distorted and inaccurate.

Let’s hope that this update has been delayed because of the bugs that we’ve seen reported.
Still it’s getting ridiculous to see security updates take so long to arrive… it’s May 19th and we’re running on March updates.
If Nothing is launching new devices (3 new phones recently) I guess they should be adding more people to the software team. I really don’t know if that’s happening.

mafcarvalho i didn’t think so, usually i get system updates a ~week after,

only NOS 3.0 android 15 i get in same minutes when it was released.
