I’ve been a Nothing user from the early days. Phone (1) in my pocket, Ear (2) in my ears, and I’ve truly admired the brand’s vision. When news of Phone (3) started to build, I made a decision: this would be my major upgrade. I skipped the 3a, waited four months, and even thought of it as a birthday gift to myself. I was excited to be first in line, ready for the next leap.
Then came the big reveal: £800. Roughly ₹90,000.
I’m someone who upgrades by exchanging my old device. It’s how I make premium tech accessible. But this time, the price felt like a punch I wasn’t braced for. I get it, growth needs revenue, and innovation comes at a cost. But still, this one hit harder than I expected.
This isn’t a rant.
It’s a reflection. A way of processing how quickly a brand that once felt within reach now feels a little further away. I still love Nothing’s vision. But I’m also asking: who is the Phone (3) really for?
So I’m opening this up to the community:
What are your thoughts post-reveal? Has the pricing shifted your plans? Let’s talk. Not just specs, but the sentiment.
