Nothing 2a plus bought in India. Will it work in the US?

Planning to travel to US. I have heard that Nothing phones have limited connectivity with carriers in the US. Is that true? Any workaround?

Nothing phones are region locked.you can use it with indian sim but if you ever reset the phone abroad, you have to initialise the phone again with indian sim .it is not possible if you are not in india.if you unlock the carrier,you can use it everywhere.

Update on this question - I used Nothing 2a Phone Plus with Jio Sim and Jio International Roaming pack in the US for two weeks. Worked flawlessly. Connected itself to Verizon network and worked great. US data also worked perfectly. I tried a US AT&T Sim on Nothing 2a Plus. Worked flawlessly.
