In my opinion, the CMF Phone 1 is closer to modularity, if you want to call it that. It would have been better to make the battery replaceable as well. This would have made it a good competitor to companies like Fairphone. As it is, “modularity” only consists of screwing on accessories that are not compatible with each other.
A missed opportunity, if you ask me.
The modularity in the current Phone 2 is the only major criticism I have. Otherwise, I think the successor is a total success. But you’re right when you say that the beautiful colors are irrelevant when the white back cover comes on…
If I upgrade here, it will be without any new accessories.
However, the magnets for Megsafe can be purchased separately. These are stickers that can be stuck onto or into the case. I already wanted to buy such stickers for the CMF 1 as they are not expensive.
