Scorecard Widget Concept – Design Submission for Nothing Tech Event
As part of the Nothing Tech Company Concept Design Event, I created a dynamic and interactive Scorecard Widget that provides real-time updates and an intuitive experience for sports fans. This widget is built to seamlessly integrate into mobile or web applications, delivering compact yet detailed match insights.
Key Features:
Live Match Indicator: A red dot on the top-left corner of the widget signifies a live match in progress, helping users instantly identify active games.
Match Overview: Each widget clearly displays the match number, teams playing, and current score with overs.
Ball-by-Ball Tracking: Users can track previous 10 balls of the match shown as dots at the bottom, with color-coded indicators for ball outcomes.
Over Completion Tracker: Around the team logo, dots represent overs – white for completed overs and grey for ongoing ones.
Batsman & Bowler Info: The widget highlights the current batsmen and bowler, with the batsman on strike marked for clarity.
Expandable Sports & Leagues: Through the Sports Widget UI, users can add more sports (e.g., Football) and select specific leagues like World Cup or IPL, making it future-proof and scalable.
Design Philosophy:
This widget is designed with a minimalist approach that aligns with the aesthetics of the Nothing brand—clean, bold, and functional. It focuses on clarity, ease of access, and real-time interactivity, enhancing user engagement with every match.
