The Phone you are seeing right now is a What if?
designed using Craftmanship, Artistry, Nostalgia, Playfulness, Expression with a hint of Curiosity.
This is Child’s Play at its most distilled and raw form stripped down back to the basics until we got nothing.
Not gonna write a foot long essay on the first page and bore the child inside you who is curious about this design now 🙂

Why the concept?
Because we felt like theres a need for a constant reminder of your roots and from where
you started from, even if youre a designer, artist, or creator.

The concept works in four ways,
It takes you back to your good ol days, reminds you where you started from. (SCRIBBLES -> Sketches) (UNEVEN LINES -> even lines)
It shows the younger people their future. (Newspapers/Textbooks -> CUTTING MAT) (paper -> CANVAS)
It shows your growth as an artist, as a designer, as a human. (Used Sharpner Blade)
A Swiss Army Knife for creatives of any kind is also what we had in our mind for this design.
Which is why we included the ruler scale on the side frame of the phone.
Imagine having the capability of carrying around a 15cm scale literally anywhere you go,
also this device acts as a design inspiration taking advantage of all
different types of elements on the back of the phone.
We had more ideas of physical innovations like adding a BUBBLE LEVEL or a SPIRIT LEVEL, a leveller tool
with a tiny bubble inside used by engineers to check if their project is correctly level.

When i first bought my Nothing Phone (2), i used to stare at its back design and adore it by stating it as a piece of
artwork framed inside glass in the back of a phone, lets further exaggerate that shall we.
