Removal of FPS Limit on Games - Request

For the love of god, please just remove the OS 60fps default cap. Yes, there is an option in the Developer settings but most, if not, all the time, it doesn’t even work. Just remove this annoying limit please, we casual gamers in light esports (in my case ML:BB) or other types of casual game gamers need loving too. 🙏🙏

AnonynousAccount Hey mate, sometimes this is down to the developers of the games rather than Nothing. I’d suggest contacting the developers of your favourite games and request they support higher FPS for Nothing devices 🙂

AnonynousAccount I’ve tried to resolve this issue with nothing support but they keep saying that it is due to phone chip not being powerful enough and they can’t do anything about it. Right know the only real solution is to have some kind of overlay on your screen(any app in pop up view or 3rd party apps such as dynamic spot) while you play the game and this will unlock it to 120 fps. Some games are designed to be at 60 fps(such as BTD6 for example) those can’t run at 120 fps on any phone, but other than that almost any casual game that was running at 60 fps starts magically working at 120 fps.

hrry I already did the moment I received my nothing phone. It’s been months yet no change is apparent nor they’re planning to listen to the community regarding this very problem.

Phone chip not powerful enough? CODM runs at 90fps while MLBB already supported the phone at 120fps but Nothing does nothing at all limiting it to 60 fps with stutters.

_enz That’s what I’m talking about! The phone can run relatively demanding 3d games at 120 fps, but can’t run casual games at 120? That is ridiculous.
