🎉 New Update Available!
Hi everyone!

A new version of the app is now live on the Play Store! Thanks again for all your testing and feedback — here’s what’s new in this release:

🛠️ Changelog:

Fixed a bug that was preventing Glyphs from lighting up for some users
Added support for group chats as Essentials
The app is now available in Hindi 🇮🇳 and French 🇫🇷
Improved contact selection: you can now browse your device’s contact list when adding an Essential contact

🌍 If you notice any mistakes in the new translations, feel free to let me know — I’ll be happy to improve them in the next update!

🌐 I’m also planning to add more languages soon — which one should I add next?

The app is currently in closed beta, but if all goes well, we should be moving to open beta soon!

And yes — we’re indeed using the official Nothing Glyph SDK for this project. It’s been fun to explore the possibilities so far, and we’re looking forward to seeing how the platform evolves.

GlyphLab Awesome. But then why are you showing all the features of your app here? Even if you are providing any update you post here. Its up to you but just asking. I am also app developer so I know how this works and google anyways require only 12 closed beta testers

Vishwam Hey!

You’re right — Google only asks for a small group of testers, but in this case, the more users the better. Since the app interacts directly with the Glyphs, and those are a bit different depending on the device model, a broader pool of testers helps surface bugs that would otherwise go unnoticed (On my first release testers had issues with Phone (1) and Phone (2a) Plus)

As for the forum updates, I just want to keep the community informed and involved in the progress. I’ve found it really helpful to gather feedback and ideas that way too!

GlyphLab That works. My app is under review now. After they approve that open beta will be published directly. And I also have to make blindly and depend on my tester’s review because I can only test in Phone (2) as I have that only and I am making it for all the phones and we have to make differently for all the phones especially mapping different glyph for essential notifications which I did in my app

Hello, nice app! Meet a bug - i’ve got a essense notification for telegram, linked with your app. If I will read message on PC, notification disappear, but glyph still works until screen unlock.

lsh3 Nice and even I have developed a glyph app named SmartGlyph which has features like volume indicator for phone 1, glyph timer for phone 1, charging meter for phone 2a, 2a plus, 3a and 3a pro and much more and using AI as well
