pandaman777 This has to be one of the filthiest bait and switches ever Lumbering us who don’t want to pay with a useless button Class action lawsuit when? I never saw any mention or fees or limitations in the product description or terms of sale
mikuru Spark Noooooooooooooooooooooo whyyyyyyyyyyyy! I bought the phone solely for this why nothing, whyyyy now I regret my switch to iOS to Android lmao I got baited hard, it says ‘Monthly usage’ is there a cap limit, can they atleast be atransparent with that so I can budget the free ones I can get so atleast I can still use that button. btw can they be sued for this??
pandaman777 mikuru Depends on your country and consumer laws In the UK it feels like false advertising to me… absolutely zero mention of future fees or any usage limit on the product description or terms of sale
Jaswanth_Kumar CMF1_hacker how can it be emulated on a cmf as only the 3a currently has the essential key?
jonchefjon I think it would be a big mistake by nothing to introduce a cost to essential space. I’m a big fan of nothing and can’t see how this could compete with Gemini which I’m sure it’s only a matter of time before it’s introduced to Google keep at which point would leave a paid essential space redundant.
samthemingo Bubi it has limits, I allready hit mine when it gave me a notification that i hit my “monthly limit”
VictorYang Seems like they did not put that cost part in the advertisement, people bought the phone then found out it’s a gonna cost money to gain full access to a feature, also sort of locks up a part of hardware. Kinda stupid move by Nothing
JohnMathew I’ve been using Essential Space and find it really useful. However, I’ve come across some comments online mentioning a possible limit cap on its usage. Could you clarify if there’s any limit to how much it can be used?
sdefeo Many people, myself included, bought this phone also for this feature, if it is put on a fee they are imposters, they should have specified it when the phone was launched.
Coldpaw sdefeo Even Samsung was transparent enough saying from the beginning a number of their AI features will be subscription based after a while. But let’s wait and see, maybe those reports regarding a paid Essential Space turn out to be a hoax. However the dead silence on this matter by Nothing isn’t a good sign IMHO.
RajPratapAnand Spark if they want it paid they should not have listed it as a unique feature like seriously why add a button if its a subscription afterwards why are they listing it as a selling point of the phone
