Just recieved my phone yesterday and this problem came up while applying new screen protector… Changed the screen protector 3 times from different shops, but still this issue is there, What should I do, Can I replace my unit, because it is still under 7 Days Return/Replace period from service center (As stated by Flipkart)

Spark They cleverly stop selling the official screen protector after this blunder. Get your product replaced. Stop wasting money on tempered glass and instead buy a digital caliper and challenge them in court.

totalsandy they are still selling it on flipkart. it just does not come up if you search nothing 2a tempered glass. it comes up when you search “nothing”. also yesterday, i found out that it is not only me who is suffering from this problem on reddit. i talked to customer care, i also went to the service centre where Anurag told me that this is not a problem, the screen is built like that. you are using local tempered glass. just buy nothing’s official tempered glass from nothing’s website or flipkart’s website. if the issue still persists, come to us again with the receipt of that tempered glass and then we will process your request. they have dumb reasons bro. it is my phone and i will apply anything i want on it. you can’t force me to use your product. i said them both on the call and when i was physically available at that customer care that if the issue persists, will you or your company refund my 600 rupees? they said no. this has become a serious problem. i’m gonna tweet it. please support. i’ll reply the link to my tweet when i do it.

totalsandy i can confirm. I have 2a and there’s the same problem. I have bubbles on the edges. It’s like the glass is wobbly or something.

Same here, I bought my nothing phone 2a last April 30 and now I’m having trouble with the tempered glass. There are about 6 bubbles on both side. I tried to replace it 5 times but the same issue. Should someone do something about it. I think this should be vlog by famous vlogger so the nothing phone company will stop selling defective phones. It’s very disappointing experience. They should stop selling phones until they resolved this issue.

Take look carefully of the sides of the display by using the light in your house you will notice waves on the sides I suspect this is the issue causing bubbles on tempered glass

I faced the same problem but I was able to solve it temporarily. I don’t know if it will harm the screen it not.

I filled the gap using a light liquid such as oil or screen cleaner and the bubbles went away.

I took a cotton earbud, dipped in it and then applied.

Shubh same issue with np2a screen has dents on the edges its not flat . btw i fixd this with this glue . first i pressed the bubble thn applied some glue make sure the air cant go inside dont release the pressure or it will take glue inside instead of air till you put rubber bands than release your pressure wait for a day , solved my problem

Just returned my 2a for this issue, was a UK 256gb model.

It should be of high priority to fix this issue in Phone 3. I own phone (1) and phone (2a), and more or less both have the issue of uneven surface on edges. And production quality shouldn’t be an issue in 3rd iteration of a product. Please let this reach the production team @RohitPakalapati

I’m also facing the same issue with nothing phone 2a. Tried replacing the screen guard two times but the problem still exists. On nothing phone 2a the air gap is on the top right and bottom left corners. Highly disappointed.

However, after installing it, I noticed a bubble in the bottom left corner. At first, I thought it was just a mistake during installation, but after reading through this thread, I realize it might be a hardware fault; and my return window has closed. What to do now? Did you find a solution?

AniruddhaMitra try to apply hydrogel film like i did, no problems at all with it and the feeling is much better then with the glass.

Yesterday I got tempered glass fixed for more protection.Within few hours bubbles arises on edges.

I went back to shop and shopkeeper told me that it’s due to back cover.The edges of back cover are slight more lifted and curved inwards which gives stress for tempered glass.

Whenever I put on the cover, large enough bubbles occur in bottom.

Anybody provide me solution or another back cover that’s not messi😌
