Hey Community!
I hope everyone is doing great! I’m excited to share the incredible experience I had hosting the Nothing Community Photowalk in Mumbai with the Phone (3a) Series. The excitement was in the air as we gathered at a beautiful park in Bandra, Mumbai, where I handed out devices to all the participants.
We kicked off the day with introductions, starting with me, Pranay Rao( Marketing Director, Nothing India ), and then @Rahul, a dedicated community member who we recruited as the leader of the Photowalk. I guided everyone through the route and the locations we would explore during the walk. Despite the intense sun, our energy was high, and we were all eager for the adventure ahead.

Our first stop was the beautiful Kartak Park, where everyone had the opportunity to test the Phone (3a) Pro’s camera, exploring its features and pushing its limits. Everyone seemed immediately impressed by its zoom capabilities - some of the community members took full advantage of this to capture stunning macro photography.

@Rahul then introduced the new camera app, which now includes exposure control in normal mode—a fantastic addition. He also shared some valuable insights about the new camera presets, which many used to capture beautiful black-and-white photos.

Next, we made our way to the famous Jogger’s Park. On the way there, some community members had a go at shooting some street scenes and some tall buildings from a distance. Thanks to the periscope zoom lens on the Phone (3a) Pro, the clarity of the shots made a great impression on those shooting with this type of camera the first time.

At Jogger’s Park, everyone dove into exploring portrait mode. While the weather wasn’t ideal, everyone was enthusiastic about testing the camera’s capabilities. Many captured stunning close-up shots of birds and flowers while also testing the HDR features of the device. As we observed the ducks and their natural habitat, we took the chance to photograph them too.

We ended the walk with a group photo and then headed to Blue Tokai Coffee Roasters for a coffee. It was the perfect moment to relax, review our shots from the day, and share thoughts on the Phone (3a) series’ design and camera capabilities I took the opportunity to gather some firsthand feedback from the group. I enjoyed spending quality time with like-minded community members it wasn’t just about the photos; it was about the conversations and good vibes that come from being with a wonderful group of people. Here’s a group photo taken at the end of the photowalk.

That was truly a memorable day - a fantastic mix of tech enthusiasm and photographic discovery, all surrounded by the supportive energy of the community. If you ever have the opportunity to join us for another photowalk, don’t hesitate! It’s not only about the shots you take, but the connections you make, the stories you share, and the lasting memories you create along the way.
Special thanks to Rahul for leading the photowalk, and to all the community members who participated. We had an amazing time together and are excited for more opportunities like this in the future.
