Custom ringtones reset after reboot

Anyone please help me out ,

when i restart or switch off my phone I find that my phone ringtones and alarms gets changes to default ringtone ,i usually use downloaded ringtone in mp3 format as my phone’s ringtone ,but after a typical restart it changes to default

Note : I am using the latest update of Nothing OS 3.O

User09678 Are the ringtones you use located inside the “Ringtones” folder at the root of the phone’s storage?

Actually I can’t don’t know about the folder

But I set that mp3 as

Settings->sounds and vibration->phone ring tone->my sounds->(my downloaded mp3)

User09678 your mp3 appeared on the list or you had to add it via the “Add new sounds” option?

User09678 strange, I typically set custom notifications like this and they persist after reboots:

Open the files app to move the audio file you want to use as a notification into the Notifications folder (in your case into the Ringtones folder).
Go to Settings -> Sound and vibration -> Notification sound (Phone ringtone in your case) -> My sounds -> Select the file you just moved in step 1 and tap save.

Well, i tried the same way and still the problem persists after 2 restarts…

Probably it might be a glitch?or am I only facing this?…

User09678 have you tried different files? maybe it’s the file 🤔

Actually it’s happening it with the custom ringtones too,

If I have to tell in detail

I do clear cache of each and every app from settings>storage>apps and after a typical restart once or twice it sets to default ringtone (crossing) ,Before (ripple) tone

Maybe clearing cache and turning phone off suddenly might be causing this ..
