Nothing phone 1 - NOS3 - Installation problem

Hello all,

I was wondering if any Nothing phone 1 user facing issue to install NOS3. I have already tried 25-30 times but all in vain. The update gets downloaded but fails to install everytime. Each try takes around 40-50 mins just to get back to A14(2.6). My p1 goes into a restart loop after clicking restart now which shows after the download.

These error texts I get everytime. Does anyone have any solution for this?

I have tried installing A14 fresh and then tried to install the update but the issue persists.

Tried installing with mobile data and wifi both, still no luck.

Tried installing without sim, again no luck.

If any nothing dev can look into this then it would be great.

Soumyajit_26 try to factory reset your phone and then try may be fix this issue and also try update your Google play service’s

SUMIT TRIPATHI factory reset might fix the issue but that’s not a solution. Setting up everything is a task.

I have been trying this for days and it wont install till my battery is goes dead flat and still wont install.. there should be fix for this im done …trying.. i love this phone but im tired of its problem… i cant afford factrory reset it…

Nothing phones doesn’t have any support center in Nigeria .. I guess I see the reason why most phones are dominant here in Nigeria! I have sources for the battery from Amazon china to Nigeria .. now this!!… This heartbreaking

81SecuredCheckedmated maybe try to reset your phone. Take backup and then try, that might help. I have service centers in my country so prolly will visit one. Reset is the only option for you. Btw what error do you see?

maybe the problem is in the phone’s charge level, try updating when the charge is 70-80%

I confirm I have the same problem, tried with multiple battery levels and so on. I’m in EU.

EDIT: this company isn’t just doing anything to solve the problem but it gets worse

I tried again and now the phone is dead

nothing company f…. your dumb updates, NOTHING UPDATE is part of their philosophy now

Has anyone found a solution for this? I’m also experiencing the same issue and can’t update to Android 15.
