Wanted to point out a very critical issue, is the lack of consistency on 120hz, the phone can barely reproduce animations which don’t stutter or slow times that get you far from the experience nothing try to give to the final user. Moving from an app to another, swiping down the notification tray is a sort of an annoying experience because you spect to see a laggy animation, and as soon as you swipe the system gives you that laggy animation. Semi Android stock should be lightweight to this cpu to run without a sweat, but needs a ton of work. Those lags can be produced by a not so well memory allocation and management, sometimes the os closes very recent apps stored in the background .Even though, good job nothing, you’re going in the right way, I’m glad to be Heard by the community and the devs team to reach the point to estable a fast and polished software as a standard.

Yes, the smartphone doesn’t run as smoothly as before. The 120 Hz refresh rate doesn’t show its effect.

It has been 1 day since I updated to Nothing OS 3.0 and have not noticed any major issues with it.

Few things:

I am not sure if this is intentional or not but the 3 dot menu in the app drawer directly opens the drawer settings page.

Normally the 3 dot menu icon is associated with a sub list and if a new page needs to open, it would be good if the icon changes to something else like a gear icon.

Second is there is no way to collapse the expanded volume menu. There is no back icon in the expanded volume menu to go back to the original size.

I had to reduce the animation duration down to .5 to make the stuttering and lag less noticiable, in the developer settings section in the settings app. Also activated the “force maximum screen refresh rate” in there for the same purpose

I’m in love with OS 3.0 but can you do something thing about lock screen notifications? Sometimes its overlaps Whole screen.

ta_RUN exactly, the notification card/system is so bad and ugly at the same time.

ta_RUN Is there any network fluctuations from 5g to 4g after the update??I mean to ask is the 5g network stable!!!

Rob ⚡️ Really appreciate OS 3.0 however I noticed this glitch happening with phone 1 where even after you flip it to enter the silent mode, the phone still rings up when someone calls or when someone is sending messages. Not sure if it’s just me or if others are also facing the same issue.

steven_powell I did format data from recovery page and it got sorted for me.
