Hey guys I’m unsure if this is a thread. Thought I’d see what other happy Nothing Phone users would like to see included, removed or changed in the upcoming Nothing Phone 3. Obviously this is hypothetical.

I’ll start:

Same 1080p panel with increased peak brightness
Bigger 5500mAh + battery
Ultrasonic fingerprint reader
Much faster 75+ watt charging
Remove wireless charging (this will start some wars)
I love the cameras but they can always be better
Gallery App and Nothing Community App

I am unsure if this topic has been previously addressed, as I searched the community page without finding any relevant threads. Therefore, I am starting a new discussion. Mods are welcome to merge this with any existing thread, if applicable.

Now, to the point:

The Phone 3 should be equipped with a substantial battery, ideally 6000mAh or higher.

It would be ideal if the device aligns with the specifications of the 8 Elite series.
Thermal management should be optimized within the operating system, particularly for units intended for the Indian market.

The pricing should remain within a competitive range to prevent rapid depreciation, similar to the trends observed with OnePlus devices.

The Phone 3 should feature a 2K display and enhanced sound quality, both in terms of internal speakers and headphone output.

The entire package should include a 3.5mm headphone jack extension and a charger—offered as bundled accessories, not in the box, but included in the overall price. This would allow customers who do not require these accessories to purchase the phone at a lower base price.

It’s false, the news says that the Phone 3 will be released in December of this year when Carl Pei said it will be released in 2025.

I have a very heavy/high hopes if team nothing notice these they are gonna reconsider;-

1-first i have faith in design of nothing phones no complaint just expect them to maintain their design decorum.

2- second if nothing give video camera sensor as good as iphone13 the its definitely gonna be a banger as there are many aspiring android content creators/content creators but they have no choice but to buy iphone for their vloging journey or content creation.

As no other brand is even thinking about giving a good video camera near good as iphone and no other brand is considered for content creations .

If nothing gives more practical features people can consider themselves for trying out their camera skills , it can be very helpfull in creating videos for college fest or school trips or college class bunk trips only iphone guys are making good videos as there is no other smartphone as good as iphone or near in making video memories.

As now taking good photos have become norm in smartphone industry .

3- third is giving a improved/practical action button in phone i bet will be game changer as

if we are busy in meeting busy in taking classes or just very busy to even open a smartphone instead we just click on smart button instead and make my phone go silent .

Or we can set multi features in that improved smart action button ,when i heard action button in iphone i htought its going to be like jiggle button just nokia or blackberry phones have in their centre as a main buton which can go left right up and down .

Like if we click button upwards it will open camera , if we click it downwards it will open torch , if we clickleft right vice versa features are gonna be damn goodto hear and use inpractical.

4- i just love nothing as it hav not yet set brand identity just like xiaomi vivo even if they launch a flagship phone people wont buy them as they have set their brand identity as budget phones but nothing has power to be muhc more than that…..!!

What you guys think about my ideas for upcoming nothing phone 3 ,i can bet if nothing gives these features under (60,000rs) its gonna be banger

So NOTHING is a great company, no doubt, especially with Carl Pei. But here are some recommendations I would suggest NOTHING to implement, and i’m sure you guys can agree w me.

Use processors like Snapdragon 8 Series, or Snapdragon 8 Elite etc to call it a flagship.
Making better ringtones and notification tones for NOTHING, transitioning more towards a more cleaner simplicity instead of something mechanical ykwim?
Add more software updates, like around 7 years
Please make flagship killers like the Old OnePlus; flagship experience with midranger price
For midrangers or entry level phones, you can use 3-4 year old flagship chips, and for entry level around 5-6 years old
Super fast charging speeds. Cmon-

Dont get me wrong, I rlly appreciate the effort the NOTHING team puts to provide for us, but we would rlly appreciate if these changes were made. We love NOTHING!

I’d like to suggest to those who developing the nothing phone 3, the rumors of nothing phone 3 are getting hot but if you want to protect your line of work and name of the brand the nothing phone 3 should have 3 categories of choosing chip set for a base model and pro version. For the nothing 3a the chipset should be 7s Gen 3, the base model nothing phone 3 chipset should be dimensity 8300, and the Plus version or the Pro version is having the dimensity 9400 or the newest snapdragon 8 elite for efficiency. Don’t let the consumer confused and be specific for the models, nothing phone 3 series is the game changer for nothing company. The 3a for those who cannot afford the high end specs, nothing 3 will be the like the base model; in the middle and the plus/pro version should be juiced up.

3a- 7sGen3 battery capacity 5,100mah

3- dimensity 8300 battery capacity 5,500mah

3Plus/3Pro- dimensity 9400/Snap8elite battery capacity 6,000mah

I really thought Nothing was going to give us SOMETHING instead they have taken from me time and EVERYTHING.

I would like to see a Nothing OS Pro that is based on older versions of Android with patches from later versions built in so as to not disturb API s’ that Google seems so hellbent on removing.

I would also like to see a Nothing Phone Flagship with more sensors and kit than any other device brought to market including access to many last mile features that the FCC seems to require licensing for?.

Since the release of the Gigaset GX6 Pro I’ve been leaning in that direction.
