I wanted to share what I’m experiencing with my Nothing Phone 1’s battery lately, and see if anyone else feels the same.
After the recent update, my battery life has taken a serious hit. Even when my phone is locked and I’m barely using it, the battery drops really quickly. Like, it’ll go from 100% to 97% in just 7 minutes without me doing anything. All the battery-consuming settings are turned off when the phone is locked. That feels way off compared to before.
Before the update, my phone would easily last me the whole day with just 2 charges. Now, I find myself charging it 4 times or more just to keep it alive. It’s honestly frustrating.
I’m a pretty simple user and I don’t play games much, just take some photos here and there, and occasionally use Facebook, Messenger, WhatsApp, and some other apps. Nothing too heavy. But the battery is dying fast, and it feels like the phone is draining even when I’m not actively using it.
What’s going on here? Why is the battery draining so quickly, especially when the phone is just idling overnight? Anyone else facing this after the update, or know how to fix it?
