I have been using NP1 since its release in the country & still running smooth. An year ago, replaced the charging port because it got loose. Other than that i had no problems.
So, being a fan of Carl’s vision (since OP days) i always wanted to contribute in some way or another.
So, here’s my 2 year Accubattery data, i have used the phone in a very usual way, NO gaming (small screen& even smaller controls ? Common!), Attended Online classes, watched movies, fought on calls with my ex for hours(she won), disabled most of the google services (i like some privacy), had more open sourced apps, listened to music over bluetooth while driving (ear1&2) etc. Constant switching from 5G-4G-Wifi kept always on. You got the gist. If you’d like more info on the usage or data, please let me know.
As per the data, rate of battery wear increased (in my case) in the first two months of the current year.
For a Li-ion battery, 77-80% in 2 year usage is okay, atleast for me. I mean, i like the smooth experience, a lot. 33K Rs for 2 years, per day cost stands around Rs 44-46. I’d say, its still a good investment & will continue to use the phone.
I’ll soon replace the battery from the authorised service center & maybe if every variable fits correctly, i may use it for more years to come.
