jacek212 I’m glad that your issue got resolved, even after the update still many are facing the issues, I don’t know why, earlier was better. In 5 minutes of talk call gets disconnected atleast 3-4 times due to network fluctuations.

This issue is not specific to the particular location. It’s happening everywhere.

ashu_ bro same problem but it’s showing fake 5G for airtel users my friends other brand mobile shows 4g but mine shows 5g so to know whether it’s in 5v or 4g go to settings and click sim status in that check signal strength if NR appears then in 5g unlimited

Do you guys face the problem of network disconnect? I use Jio and the signal disappears too often. I had to turn the sim off and on again sometimes to get the signal back. It didn’t happen before on previous phone. I am using 2a plus btw.

yes it is a huge bug since the nothing OS 3 release. Even the latest updates that were supposed to fix the network stabiltiy problem did not solve this issue. Nothing has been unresponsive on this front.

The phone takes a long time to register on 5g network (either falls back to 4g or no network). Before anyone says it is a network provider problem, it is not. All other phones with the same sim provide constant, stable and immediate connection and stays on 5g. Nothing after 3.0 almost always fails.

Your best bet is to report through settings>system>feedback. The community observers are unhelpful in this regard and neither escalate the matter internally or say standard response templates which is infuriating. This is a known widespread issue.

the pin drop silence from CBO members or the nothing team on this issue is disappointing. Customers are facing severe network issues since nos 3 since 3 months now and all we see is photo challenges and other gimmicks. This feedback has been widely reported in the community.

An acknowledgement or a solution timeline would be useful. Or let us officially downgrade to 2.6.

Hey everyone,

Has anyone else noticed a significant drop in signal reception after the recent update on the Nothing Phone 2a? I’m from India and use a Jio SIM, and ever since the update, my signal reception has become noticeably worse. Before, I used to get a fairly strong signal in most areas, but now I’m experiencing frequent call drops, weaker signal bars, and much slower mobile data. Even in places where I used to have full bars, the connection is now unstable.

I’m wondering if this is a widespread issue or just something affecting a few users. Could it be changes in network bands, a software bug, or something else? If you’ve experienced the same, have you found any fixes or workarounds?
