Cloned payment apps failure

Hey I am from india and I am trying to clone an payment app in my device to support different bank accounts I have and in the verification phase it’s failing as the clone app is unable to fetch SMS on its own although I am recieving sms on my mobile.

Something tells me that cloning payment apps is against terms and conditions and is (rightfully so) not allowed.

But the apps we use link only one phone number and each phone number is linked to a specific bank, so if we need to use two different accounts for payment we need to use a cloned app.

n_jaswanth Be careful, as using cloned apps can put your bank accounts at risk. If you still want to try, here’s why they usually don’t work:

Payment apps check details like the app’s name, version, signatures, and other security info to make sure it’s genuine. Cloned apps change these details, so they get flagged as fake and won’t work.

And also the clones are working fine in other phones like OnePlus and realme as far as I know, because I used them previously.
