recorder widget does not record calls

Hello. I have the nothing phone 1 and the 2.5.3.A update just arrived, however the recorder widget only shows the microphone option and it does not record my calls. What can happen? I am writing to you from Spain

I live in Bangladesh and I am having the same issue on my Phone (2). Nothing really needs to fix this issue. If Samsung users can record calls without notifying the caller on the other end, Nothing should not face any legal constraints regarding this.
