After using the Nothing Phone (3a) for about a week, I can confidently say the battery is a standout feature. With moderate use, I consistently get two days of battery life. Thanks to its clean software and adaptive refresh rate display, power efficiency is clearly a priority.
In terms of performance, I won’t go into benchmarks — real-life usage matters more. As someone who’s used Nothing phones for the past three years, I’ve noticed they maintain solid performance. Whether indoors or under bright sunlight, the phone may get warm but never overheats, which is great for both stability and battery health.
The software animations are smooth overall, with occasional minor jitters — nothing major. I’ve heard Nothing is actively working to refine this further.
Gaming has also been a good experience. This is my first phone supporting 120 FPS in BGMI, and while the frame rate isn’t perfectly consistent, there are no major drops, making it enjoyable for casual gaming.
Overall, as a mixed-use user, I find the Nothing Phone (3a) impressive in both battery life and day-to-day performance.
