Great news! The Indian government has recently released draft rules to delicense the lower 6 GHz band (5925–6425 MHz) for unlicensed indoor use . This means devices like our Nothing Phone (2), which support Wi-Fi 6E, can now legally utilize this band in India.
Previously, Wi-Fi 6E was disabled via software due to regulatory constraints. But with this new development, it’s the perfect time to re-enable Wi-Fi 6E support on our devices.
Re-enabling Wi-Fi 6E would allow us to experience faster speeds and reduced latency, enhancing our overall connectivity.
Could the team consider rolling out an update to unlock Wi-Fi 6E support on the Nothing Phone (2) for Indian users?
