Everything about Nothing OS is in the thread below

The Nothing Phone (3a) runs on Android 15 with Nothing OS 3.0 — a subtle yet meaningful upgrade that brings more features and customisation to the experience

I love how Nothing is leaning into its unique monochrome aesthetic, giving the OS a distinctive identity. The multiple widgets are not just handy but fun to use, and the quick settings panel is fully customisable. You can even place tiles outside of it using the Quick Settings Widget

Nothing also offers multiple clock faces for the lock screen, adding yet another layer of personalisation

When it comes to AI, Nothing is focusing on genuinely useful features instead of gimmicks. Earlier, they introduced Wallpaper Studio, which uses AI to generate custom wallpapers. With OS 3.0, they also introduced Essential Space— (we’ll talk about that in another thread)

Soon, Nothing will launch Nothing Gallery, packed with customisation features and AI editing tools

Another great addition is Private Space, which lets users create a secure environment for apps and data. It’s protected with a separate PIN for extra privacy.
There’s also a Game Mode that includes useful features like brightness lock and performance boost

Over time, Nothing OS has become a clean, fluid, and reliable operating system — free of bloatware and rich in interaction. That said, I do miss a few features — like using the wide-angle lens on Snapchat, selecting multiple apps on the Home Screen, having full-screen album art on the lock screen, smoother parallel animations, and deeper haptic feedback integration throughout the UI, which would enhance the overall tactile experience.
Big thanks to Nothing for sending over the Nothing Phone (3a) for review!
