Call recording widget

Hey👋

I see some people have call recording ability via widget on nothing phones but i dont have it.i know it may be regional but is there a way to bypass or bring it with some tricks?

Also im pretty sure they have set no rules about it in here

AmirrezaAtashinbar open recorder app and allow all permissions then record some audio from app and you will se the widget

Google notice… Important: Only certain devices and carriers support recording calls. This feature isn’t available on Pixel. Some laws require all people on the call to consent to being recorded. Before the call begins, call participants are notified that the call is recorded.

AmirrezaAtashinbar tap on that and the you should see a option to select system and mic audio together or only mic. Select system and mic together and you are good to go

AmirrezaAtashinbar did you get your device via EMI? IT admins block some access to features until the EMI is done. If not report in the feedback.

Are you, by any chance, using a third-party launcher? Because this widget seems to be available only on the default launcher.

This widget is not meant to record phone calls, it even says so in the app description. The whole app is meant as a classic voice recorder:

It records your environment, your voice or the one of a person you might be interviewing. Voice memos are the most common use case for it.

As mentioned above, there are (rightfully so) severe restrictions by Google when it comes to recording phone calls.

Coldpaw yes im aware of it.but the point is its not related to google dialer app its something on nothing os itself

If you want to record by google it self you should hit a button during the call on dialer(which even that is not available for me)

AmirrezaAtashinbar According to this article, Google only allows call recording in the countries listed. Also, you need to have the correct version of the Google Phone app installed - also mentioned in the article.
