Yea, I bought the orange buds 2 recently. Broke them in with some hard bass music going for 5hrs straight.
These buds are heavy bass but the bass isn’t in front of everything. The highs and mids are still clear but they’re not as loud and that’s where the nothing X software picks up the slack. Spacial mode makes the highs and mids noticeably louder and clearer while the bass still stays heavy, drawback is the vocals have too much echo which is noticeable if the audio playing has little lows or mids like odcast or vocals.
My major gripe is the controls. Pause/play is only mappable to the double tap control instead of one of the other two (double tap and hold OR tap and hold). I hope nothing/cmf updates the software to change this.
for reference I’ve used the wf c700n from Sony and the cmf buds pro 2 beats rivals it in audio quality but falls behind on our of the box audio quality since they need tuning and breaking in and even then they’re not as versatile but still good enough.
In short the buds 2 are very good for the price IF you’re using them with nothing x software IE a mobile device.
