Any chance of phone 2 getting a good camera update ?

Can we expect phone 2 to recieve 3.2 update with camera app support for luts and presets and also better skin tones like the ones in 3a

There is a good chance it’s going to receive the 3a updates, it has been hinted by Nothing shortly after they launched their 3a series. However so far there is no word when or to what extend the update will drop.

The next Community Quarter should be released soon, maybe then we’ll get some actual news.

I hope it happens, but I doubt it.
They’ve got back to back launches now with 3a, cmf phone 2 pro and now the campaign will move to the launch of Phone (3).

But the camera needs some serious work and the team needs to get their heads straight for this.

Colour and lighting consistency. Everytime the lighting is a hit or miss. It produces overblown highlights randomly with reddish and skin tones with dark blacks, which looks so bad.
Video stutters for 2-3 seconds at the start of 4k videos.
I’m not sure if Phone(2) supports 2x sensor crop zoom like the iPhones, that would be great since zooming in this phone with a lack of telescope distorts the images. text gets distorted after 3.5x and gets unreadable sometimes and not consistent.
Luts and Presets like op mentioned.
