No internet during calls

I have been using Nothing phone 3a from last month.

Main issue is even with dual sims there is no internet during calls which is very frustating.

Please provide quick solution if anyone has, i have done all basic stuff like airplane mode,turning on and off sims,etc.

Please give solutions.

AnkitKumar_OQqUczoQW6 you have two sim card that why this happened.

Lets suppose you have two sim 1 jio and other one is airtel and u are using internet in airtel but at the same time you are doing call in jio then your internet connection cut out. Hope u understand

That usually means you do not have VoLTE enabled on your phone. This allows mobile internet and calls simultaneously. Try contacting your phone provider to ask them to activate it, whether it is available on your plan, and/or go to Settings and search for VoLTE option.

AnkitKumar_OQqUczoQW6 It seems you have it already enabled. Check with your phone plan provider for more details about how to configure VoLTE. You might not be able to use calls on one SIM card and then Internet on the other SIM card. They need to be using the same network.

Is there any way i can use internet while calling?

Btw this is indian variant and i am using jio and airtel sims.

AnkitKumar_OQqUczoQW6 Sorry for not responding to you earlier, I was in school. Do you use airtel for internet / calls, as they support VoLTE? Which SIM card is no.2 in the picture above, as this one is the one you should use if you want to be able to make calls and use the internet at the same time.

I don’t know how it worked but i reinserted the sims, and in settings “automatic data switching” was showing off,which was enabled earlier.

I just enabled it and voila, volte is enabled and i can use internet while calls on both sim.

I guess sometimes doing “nothing” actually is useful🥹
