Attending the CMF Phone 2 Pro launch by Nothing was an unforgettable experience. From the moment I entered Yashobhoomi, New Delhi, everything felt smooth, exciting, and energetic.
Registration was a breeze — just a quick email ID check, and I received my entry band. As I walked in, a lineup of all CMF products greeted us, setting the vibe for the day.

A Fun Start with Cricket and Surprises
The event began with Carl Pei welcoming players from Royal Challengers Bangalore — Josh Hazlewood, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, and Rajat Patidar. Watching Carl try to play cricket while Josh and Bhuvi bowled to him was hilarious and instantly made the event feel more personal and fun.
Then came an exciting moment: Carl threw cricket balls into the audience and announced that whoever caught a ball would win a surprise gift, which turned out to be the brand-new Nothing Phone 2 Pro! The energy in the hall was electric.
Hearing the Vision Behind CMF
When Carl spoke, it felt genuine. He shared how most companies build elsewhere first and then come to India, but Nothing sees India as a place to create, not just to sell.
It felt empowering to hear that, especially sitting among fellow tech lovers.
Akis Evangelidis then explained how CMF is about bringing fun and excitement back to technology, not just following the crowd.
My Hands-On Experience
We were given a chance to try the new CMF Phone 2 Pro and earbuds. I instantly loved the orange color of the phone — it’s bold, fresh, and stands out in a world full of boring designs.
The phone felt sleek, lightweight, and premium in hand. The Buds also looked stylish and sounded great.
Meeting the Faces Behind Nothing
One of the best parts? I got to meet both Carl Pei and Akis Evangelidis in person!
They were humble, approachable, and passionate about what they’re building with the Nothing community.
Goodies and Closing Moments
The event ended with great refreshments — sandwiches, cookies, brownies, and juice — followed by live music that made the evening even more special.
As a thank-you, we received a CMF sling bag, a keychain, and some CMF peppermints as part of our goodies. Small touches, but they made the experience memorable.

Final Thoughts
For me, this event wasn’t just about launching a new phone — it was about being part of a community that values creativity, design, and fun.
I’m proud to be part of the Nothing journey and can’t wait to see what they do next.
*Anyone, please tell me how I can upload the images in the community post so you guys could get better perspective of the event.
