RiccardoTonin Not sure why you’d make that claim. First, Yanko Design regularly features conceptual work, and in that context, this fits in perfectly. Second, your technical point isn’t quite right. Thermochromic ink is still just ink, it can be applied in layers just a few microns thick, making it completely feasible to use even in the small space beneath the glass. While it’s true that these inks degrade over time, their lifespan is usually long enough to outlast the device itself. And I don’t think anyone here is suggesting this is a critical or necessary feature, it’s more of a subtle visual enhancement, and in that sense, it adds a nice touch.
