I’m excited to share the design I submitted my concept for hardware and I call it ‘Daydream’.
I designed it to feel like something gently pulled from a dream, soft, surreal, and quietly expressive. It’s a phone not just built to function but to evoke emotion through every detail.
At first glance, the Daydream Edition stands apart with its dual tone back panel, blending glossy and frosted glass finishes in a delicate, seamless balance. The frosted areas gently diffuse light, while the glossy segments add clarity and depth, together they create a comforting, light-filled aesthetic that feels both modern and nostalgic.
Beneath the semi-transparent back, the cable design shimmers with a reflective finish that changes color as you shift your perspective. Subtle hues of various colors come alive based on how the light catches them, giving the illusion that the phone is breathing with color. It’s like holding a piece of rainbow in hand.
Framing this canvas, the back bezel features a reflective iridescent band that wraps around the edges, transitioning through colors depending on your viewing angle. This reflective touch gives the phone a unique silhouette always changing, always beautiful.
Also the camera ring has been refined with a delicate anisotropic texture, subtly catching and diffusing light in circular waves.
