Remember when tech was really really, fun - like really ?
When gadgets came in wild, translucent colours that lit up our bedrooms—and our imaginations?
For the community edition Phone 3(a), I’ve been working on a concept that’s a tribute to exactly that: the fantastical charm of ‘90s electronics.
Think see-through plastic, chunky buttons, and glowing lights. These weren’t just toys or gadgets—they were portals. To pixelated games that made us forget time. To music that shaped our taste. To machines that made us curious about how the world ticks.
They sparked something bigger: a love for design, technology, creation, and sound. A visual ode to that spark.
A “hunchbacked glance” at the past—PlayStations, Game Boys, Tamagotchis and MiniDiscs—all reimagined with a familiar vibe and a bit more bounce.
It’s a concept distilled into the spirit of Nothing: clarity, fun, simplicity, and just enough playfulness to make you grin.
