Technical Aspects — Integrated and Waterproof Modularity To make the lower part of the smartphone modular without altering its original geometry, the concept relies on a simple and effective fastening system. The lower half-case would be secured in place with a dual locking mechanism: a set of pressure clips on the sides, complemented by two screws located at the top of the half-case. Once the two screws are removed, the user can easily detach the case and disconnect the ribbon cable linking the Glyph module to the smartphone. The process is reversed to install a new case: insert the new ribbon cable, reposition the case, and secure it with the clips and screws. An integrated sealing gasket ensures the phone is protected from moisture and dust, maintaining the durability of the system without compromising the phone’s overall resistance.
