Hey everyone,
I wanted to showcase my Community Edition Submission and a bit of where the idea came from:
To put it simply, I’m a dreamer. My head’s always in the clouds, sketching out ideas in the back of my mind. Sometimes, whether it be that I particualrly like an idea or that I found it rather feasible, I’d make it.
Hence, with the chance to design a phone, I made Nothing but Iridescent.
The concept was born from a quiet fascination — the kind you get when something ordinary suddenly looks different in the light. Inspired by the Blue Morpho Butterfly, whose wings appear blue not because of pigment, but because of how they bend light, this design shifts from vibrant blue to deep purple based on how you hold it and where you are.
It’s not flashy or animated. It doesn’t need to be. It simply responds — to light, to motion, to you.
You can check out the submission here, and below I’ve added a few slides that bring the idea to life.

I’d love to hear what you think — and whether tech should sometimes just feel… a little more alive.
