If someone loses their phone, even with password protection enabled, the thief can still remove the SIM card, causing a loss of network connectivity. After that, they might take the phone to a mobile shop where it could be jailbroken or have its software tampered with using unauthorized tools. This poses a serious security risk and could result in the user permanently losing access to their device.
To prevent this, we propose a stronger security measure: any attempt to jailbreak or modify the phoneās system should require a unique verification codeāideally linked to the deviceās IMEI.
