I have finally managed to get the customer support to agree to giving me a refund after referencing the fact I made my original complaint within 30 days of purchasing the device. I encourage anyone having these issues to make a formal support request ASAP if they have not already done so, just so there is a written paper trail of events!
Under Nothings own Return and Replacement Policy (https://nothing.tech/pages/return-and-replacement-policy), they must address all defects within 14 days via either inspection/repair, exchange, or full replacement. If you lodge your complaint within 30 days, you can request a full refund without needing to go down the repair/exchnage route.
