Hello. I’m SH Yang and I live in South Korea.
I really like Nothing products especially Nothing smartphones. However the Nothing brand is not so popular in South Korea compared to other countries. I feel so sad about it and I am worried that someday Nothing discontinue the smartphone business in South Korea.
In South Korea we can buy Nothing Phone 2, and Nothing Phone 2a. But unfortunately Nothing didn’t realise the Phone 2a plus and CMF Phone 1 in South Korea.
So today I am going to tell the TOP 3 things that Nothing should improve that they can get more South Korea customers.
- Aggressive advertising is needed
Most South Korea customers don’t know that Nothing company exists. And the South Korea smartphone market, 99% of the customers choose between Samsung of Apple.
Nothing, Xiaomi, Motorola do sell phones in South Korea, however it’s very hard to find (almost impossible) non Samsung or Apple smartphone users.
Also other smartphone companies like Xiaomi, Motorola and Nothing do not advertise their brands much as Samsung and Apple in South Korea. (Video Commercial, Post Commercial and more)
That’s why one of the improvment needed is super aggressive advertising.
I wish that Nothing someday start making video commercials for the South Korea market.
- Open more after service (a/s) center
In South Korea there is only 1 Nothing after service center available(Seoul Geumcheon-Gu). So if Nothing wants to make more South Korea customers they need to open more service centers in more cities in S. Korea. As everyone knows that tech after services are very important.
So that why Nothing should open more after service center
I wish Nothing opens at least 20 more after service center at South Korea.
- Cooperative the business with the South Korea carriers (SK Telecom, KT, LG U+)
I think one of the reason that non Samsung or Apple smartphones does not sell a lot is most of those companies (Xiaomi, Motorola, Nothing) didn’t get help or collaborate with the carriers. A lot of South Korea customers goes to the carrier store to buy their phones. But if you go to those stores 90% of the carrier stores only has Samsung of Apple smartphones for sale.
If Nothing wants to make a success at the South Korea market carrier cooperation is essential.
That is the 3 things I think needs to improve with the Nothing’s South Korea market.
