AkshayKumar_9PBuZTA5QZ I’m using Nothing Phone (2), and I couldn’t watch HDR 10 in Amazon prime or Netflix even the display supports HDR 10+, kindly fix it
Pyrodox AkshayKumar_9PBuZTA5QZ Netflix only issues the HDR certification if the phone comes with pre-installed Netflix App. This goes against the Nothing Policy on reducing the Bloatware. Attaching a screenshot of conversation from Discord Also check the list of HDR10 supported android devices here
Remi F AkshayKumar_9PBuZTA5QZ if you are on the 2.5 open beta. It’s normal, as Netflix has to declare the Android 14 nothing phone (2) as a “trust worthy” phone. It’s on NEtflix side to do the job now
DimitriosKrommydas Pyrodox you couldn’t be more wrong. Pixel phones do not come with Netflix preinstalled (well, duh) and my pixel 7pro is certified for HDR playback on Netflix…
ArjunMuthukrishnan How is the HDR experience for you guys, in Disney+, Amazon prime and YouTube ? I’ve faced that brightness is too low or not properly implemented. Hows it for you?
ArjunMuthukrishnan HDR video playback issue needs to be fixed. Too low brightness for HDR on YouTube, Prime and Hotstar. Video also not calibrated properly.
