Yeah, my friend has phone 2 , and i have phone 2a

raviladwal It might be that there’s stuff running in the background all the time, even when you’re not really using it. That kind of thing can make it heat up without you noticing. Plus, if the room temperature is already warm, the device can’t cool down properly. And if something’s not working right in the software or an app is acting up, that just makes it worse. That could explain why the temperature stays high.

ThanosB Yes. My Phone 2 started overheating during gaming after last year’s April update. Since then during a series of updates it has gotten worse over time. Easily reaches 40c and drops frames on high settings and on low settings starts to lag. Before that performance was top notch.

I have strated having heating issue suddenly in my Nothing phone 2, slight heating used to happen before as well but nowadays it heats to the point where charging gets on hold despite minimal use.

I was facing the same issue with my nothing phone 2 after the latest s/w update. I eventually did a factory reset and that solved the issue.
