Stylus pen not working for nothing phone 1

I have brought an Android stylus hoping it works with my nothing phone 1. But it’s not working any idea how to fix it?

I don’t think phone 1 was optimised for a stylus

The Stylus and also Samsung S-Pen requires special WACOM hardware inside the phone
