After the update of os 1.5.6 battery is getting drained too fastly in phone 1,is there a way to rectify this issue or is it resolved in the os 2.0 update

My nothing phone 1 battery is not even surviving 1 day even if my usage is approx 3-4 hours a day and I am facing this problem after the January update This problem is making my phone unusable. Please fix it

LakshAnchan do battery calibration once it might help to some extent as it worked for me

My nothing phone 1 keeps draining battery fast, no over charging.. overnight goes 10% without even using it.. 1 % per drops in less than 4-5 minutes.. no 3rd party apps installed and give a factory reset recently

How is that even possible?? My phone (1) drain about 2-3% at night. What’s yours charge cycle, and how you charge your phone? (20-80% or to 100%)?

Stefan I charge 0-100% in like 24 - 26 hours.. I’m not a heavy user.. I recently factory reset the phone and now it’s like this.. close to 4-5 mins 1% will drop and over night 8-10%

Check your battery charge cycle using “Abattery” app to see. Then tell me what’s the number.

That’s completely new battery. I don’t know how your battery is that bad. My battery is around 400 charge cycle and it can go full day on one charge and drop around 30% on evening before going to bed. Maybe you can try on “app battery usage” to try disable and restrict apps you wont use to don’t autostart and proces in background whitch maybe is your problem. Is your Phone (1) on Nothing OS 3.0? My battery after that update is much better.

Stefan yes it’s 3.0.. I notice this after the update. My mom uses this before, I completely reset recently.. there are not a lot of third party apps too.. by the time I replied last time to you , I was hearing songs on spotify . I heard 3-4 songs and charge drop from 30% to 26% (and I was not using my phone while listening)

That’s strange. I often listen to Tidal on my headphones, and when i listen to music without using phone, there is 0% of loss in battery. Even if i use my phone there is maybe 2-3% loss after about 10-15 minutes.

SOORAJPRASAD_dg7zj7ocM5 I had same issue on nos 2.5 builts the service centre guy told me to just factory rest and it didn’t worked so waiting for next update was the only option mine was also draining 2-3% in 10 min of normal use

My experience: Why nothing phone 1 battery drained so quickly after the release of phone 3a and 3a pro? Is it a brand strategy to make us upgrade to new phones ?

KrishnaThapaMagar I don’t think, let me put this ,this way if you are a nothing customer who has a bad experience (battery drain) will that convince you buy a another nothing phone or a phone from another brand
I hope you got my point , doesn’t make sense for nothing to degrade the battery on purpose
