I’m facing severe connectivity issues on my Nothing Phone (2a) after the recent system update.
Both WiFi and mobile data (5G) speeds have drastically reduced.
Response time is unusually high – even simple actions like sending a WhatsApp message now take over 5 seconds to go through, despite being connected to a stable WiFi (200+ Mbps).
Websites and apps take significantly longer to load than before the update.
Importantly, Wi-Fi is working perfectly on all other devices in my home, so the issue seems to be with the phone specifically.
This happens regardless of the network – whether it’s Jio 5G or high-speed broadband, the performance is equally poor.
This is extremely frustrating, especially since everything was working fine before the update. I’ve tried:
- Restarting the phone
- Resetting network settings
None of these fixed the issue.
Anyone else facing the same? Any suggestions would be helpful.
