Hai there🌚, I hope the nothing team is reading this. I want to place forward a request regarding bringing the app lock feature on the recent menu. I find is very useful while playing songs and while using of other apps💆‍♂️,Where the locked app doesn’t clear from the recent tab,So the team of nothing should consider this request and give in the next software update👨‍💻,if possible. Hey Nothing community, My name is Mahan and I recently switched to a 3a from my iPhone 12 mini. I really wanted a change since Apple has been the same for the past couple of years, both hardware and software. I was really worried switching to android because I didn’t find it easy to use and I love ios. But I must say that the nothing os is amazing and I’m loving it more day by day. I really find this android so much more ussful than ios and at the same time so minimal and easy to use. I wanted to give some suggestions to improve the os even more after a week using the 3a. These suggestions are some feature that I found very useful in ios and I think it can make nothing os flawless.

One thing I love in ios and I’m very used to is that when you click outside of the keyboard in a chat application, it minimizes the keyboard and you can kind of swipe down the keyboard. If this was to be added in nothing os, it would make it amazing. I know that we can go back from the edge anywhere is the screen and this is amazing but why not add that feature too?
ios has a thing that when scrolling, you can get quickly at the top of the oage just by one tap at the status bar. This is soooo useful.
It would be great to be able to change the emoji appearance (they are not so good imo 🙂) and other languages’ fonts. I also read and write Persian and a better font like the one apple uses would be amazing to have here.
I’m in love with the news widget. Please keep it
Also please keep the dot matrix font. I felt somehow that it’s not being appreciated somehow but it’s so unique.

Well for now I could think of these. I don’t know if they are applicable in the nothing os or maybe there’s an android barrier somehow. I’m not really pro in these stuff.

But all in all I’m super satisfied with my experience and really appreciate what you guys are doing here. Just keep up the good work. Some great stuff about the phone are the camera, gemini assistant, the cool widgets, the nothing icons, the glyphs and the experimental features.

Spike Request to Restore Fingerprint Unlock Animation from Nothing OS 2.6

Dear Nothing Team,

I appreciate the continuous improvements in Nothing OS 3.0. However, I’ve noticed that the new fingerprint unlock animation feels very fast and lacks the engaging visual appeal present in previous versions. Specifically, the current animation appears minimalistic and less dynamic compared to the smooth, grey wave effect that originated from the fingerprint scanner in Nothing OS 2.6.

The earlier animation provided a more satisfying and intuitive unlocking experience. I believe that many users would appreciate the return of this feature, as it added a unique and enjoyable touch to the user interface.

@Could you consider reintroducing the fingerprint unlock animation from Nothing OS 2.6 in a future update? Alternatively, providing users with the option to choose between different fingerprint unlock animations would allow for a more personalized experience.

Hi Team,

I am really enjoying the watch, but I’ve come across some essential features that are missing.

1. Security Lock on the Watch

There is currently no security feature, which is really important. Let’s say someone steals my watch or I lose it. Anyone could reset it and pair it easily, which is a concern. For example, my MI Band 5 has a security lock feature. So, my question is: why doesn’t this watch have one?

We really need a ‘Tap Tap’ feature on the back of the device to activate the Glyph! Every time I want to check the battery level with the phone face down, I double-tap the back and wait for the Glyph to light up. You should see how frustrated I get! Lol.

Hi Nothing team,

I’m a proud Nothing phone user and really appreciate the clean and minimalistic design approach. However, I noticed that Nothing OS currently lacks a Depth Effect wallpaper feature, which is available on some other Android devices. This feature enhances wallpapers by adding a layered depth effect, making the home screen more visually dynamic.

It would be great if you could consider adding this in a future update. Many users, including myself, would love to see this feature integrated into Nothing OS!

Spike like nothing os featchs and ui, but the

navigation bar should more look like a part of the app, not like a line that is over everything every time. So I with a option to choose what apps should have the navigation bar in what apps its hidden similar to that setting where you decide what apps are full screen and which not.
Landscape screen optimations is not grade jet, in some cases it makes more and sometimes less sense to use the space next to the selfy camera. Fir example in Google maps it makes sense to have the map in this zone, but not the swipe up dialog info box.

Can you please improve this🙏

I do most of the times use this flip to Glyph feature but many times I just wanna listen to the ringtone with Glyph to enjoy the Glyphs given at back but I need to go back and forth in the settings page again and again, pl bring a widget for it which I can access on my lockscreen or home screen

The app drawer doesn’t allow manual folder creation only AI based folder is allowed. I was using samsung before & was able to do so.

I need AOD messages. It means showing messages without turning on hall display (as it works now), only AOD, only that message in 5 seconds. I see that feature in Nord 3CE phone, and I like it, can’t find it in NP2a
